Calling all Smile Fairies — it's time to spread smiles, laughter, and good oral health at this year’s GEM Days Kids Day! 

Let’s Smile is excited to once again partner with the United Way of Steele County and fellow partner agencies for this fun community event in Owatonna’s Central Park. We need your help to make this day magical for hundreds of children and families!

• Event Date: Friday, August 8, 2025
• Location: Owatonna Central Park
• Volunteer Arrival/Set-Up: 9:00 AM
• Event Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Clean-Up: 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Volunteer Roles Include:

• Handing out dental kits (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, brushing charts)
• Helping kids brush Chomper's giant teeth and use the giant tooth mirror
• Running the “Loose Tooth Alligator” game
• Passing out stickers and sharing smiles with attendees!
• Engaging children and families in the Power of Prevention for healthy teeth

What to Wear:

• United Way of Steele County t-shirt (provided by United Way)
• A tutu!
  • If you already have one, fantastic — please wear it!
  • If not, Let’s Smile will provide one for you.

Who Can Volunteer:
No dental experience needed, just your enthusiasm and bright smiles!
